Building Repair Solutions (BRS) Ltd is an expanding business providing building repairs to domestic properties in the Insurance market. With offices in Essex, the Midlands and Scotland the last few years have seen steady growth.
As part of the increasing volume of work, we have the need to recruit a Junior Surveyor to aid the Essex based team.
The role would suit someone with some construction experience either based from practical application or through college/ university training. If you have QS, claims handling or surveying experience this could be the ideal next step.
Initially you would work as part of a small team undertaking a claims handling function, talking to customers, insurers, loss adjusters and tradespeople while learning how schedules of works and planning is executed. Over time, the role would then develop into surveying and contracts management, learning the health and safety and people management side of the building world.
The successful candidate will be personable, confident, highly literate, numerate and looking for progression within the construction environment.
